PJ Patterson Highway Crash: An electrician tragically lost his life in a motor vehicle accident along a section of the PJ Patterson Highway in St. Catherine on Wednesday.
The deceased, identified as 20-year-old Tian Mike from Byles district in Kitson Town, St. Catherine, sustained fatal injuries in the incident.
Reports indicate that around 5:00 pm, Mike was traveling as a passenger in a white 2008 GMC motor truck along the PJ Patterson Highway, headed towards Old Harbour.
Tragically, the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn into a ditch, ultimately landing on top of Mike.
Emergency services, including the police and fire department, were promptly summoned. Firefighters worked diligently to extricate Mike from the wreckage, but despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
