Jamaica Crime News, Hanover: The Sandy Bay Police in the parish of Hanover, have now launched an investigation surrounding the death of a man, whose body was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds, along a beach property in Sandy Bay community on Tuesday, October 30.
The deceased has been identified as Andre Brown, 25-year-old unemployed Rastafarian who hailed from Claremont district, also in Hanover.
Reports by the Sandy Bay Police are that residents living in Sandy Bay, reported hearing gunshots being fired in the area on Monday night.
Shortly after 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, residents stumbled upon Brown’s body, which was lying face down in the sand on the beach property, with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper back.
The police were summoned and upon arrival the scene was processed. The victim was later transported to the Noel Holmes Hospital in Lucea, where he was pronounced dead.
