A fatal shooting in Spanish Town on Sunday night has left a 26-year-old man dead, prompting an ongoing police probe.
The deceased has been identified as Ochain Bailey, also known by the aliases “Elder” and “Quickie,” a technician from Bonanza Drive in Lauriston.
According to reports, around 9:25 p.m., family members were at home when they heard loud explosions. Shortly after, Bailey was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds.
Law enforcement officers were alerted and responded to the scene, where Bailey was found lying on the roadway with injuries to his upper body consistent with gunshots. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators processed the area, and the body was later removed.
Authorities have not yet determined a motive for the killing. The Spanish Town Criminal Investigation Branch is continuing investigations.
