Man Fatally Shot by Police in Rollington Town

KINGSTON, Jamaica — A man was fatally shot at his home by police in Kingston, early Tuesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Akeem Chance, of Montague Street in Rollington Town.

Reports indicate that the incident occurred sometime after 5 a.m., but the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear.

Residents of the area described Chance as someone who was not known to cause trouble. His death has raised questions within the community as investigations continue.
