Oracabessa, St Mary: A man was taken into custody, and a stolen motorcycle recovered during a joint police-military operation along the Oracabessa main road in St Mary on Saturday, January 25.
The operation, conducted by members of the St Mary Operational Support Team, the Port Maria Police, and the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF), led to the arrest after officers stopped the driver of a motorcycle.
According to reports, the rider’s behavior raised suspicions, prompting further checks. Investigators soon discovered that the motorcycle had been reported stolen in Irish Town, St Andrew, in September 2024.
The suspect was taken into custody, and further investigations are underway. Police are urging anyone with additional information to come forward as they continue their probe into the matter.
