Man Arrested After Police Seize Illegal Firearm in Kingston 13

Kingston, Jamaica – A man is in police custody following the seizure of an illegal firearm during a late-night operation in Kingston 13.

According to reports from the St. Andrew South Police, officers conducted an operation on Delamere Avenue at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Friday, March 7. During the search, law enforcement recovered one CZ-P10 9mm pistol, along with a magazine containing five rounds of 9mm ammunition.

One man was taken into custody in connection with the seizure. His identity has not been released, and police investigations are ongoing.

Authorities continue to urge the public to report illegal firearms and criminal activity as they work to improve safety in the community. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the police or Crime Stop at 311.
