St Mary, Jamaica: Man and Woman Shot Dead at Candlelight Vigil for Slain St Mary Woman
A man and a woman were reportedly shot and killed Thursday night during a candlelight vigil being held for 21-year-old D’Johnnay Graham, who was allegedly murdered by her police boyfriend last Wednesday.
The identities of the two victims have not yet been released.
Reports reaching McKoy’s News indicate that the incident occurred shortly after 10:00 p.m. at Graham’s home in Essex, St Mary, where relatives, friends, and community members had gathered to pay tribute to the young woman.
The vigil quickly turned tragic when gunfire erupted, leaving the man and woman dead on the scene.
Police investigators are still processing the scene and are appealing to anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.
