Two police officers assigned to the Central Village Police Station in St Catherine were reportedly shot while on duty at the station sometime between Thursday night and early Friday morning.
Reports reaching McKoy’s News are that the lawmen were “accidentally” shot — one officer sustaining a gunshot wound to the abdomen and the other to the hand.
Both officers were rushed to the Spanish Town Hospital for treatment. Their current conditions are unknown at this time.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation.
