Little Ochi owner responds to closure notice

The owner and operator of Little Ochi seafood in Alligator Pond in Manchester has invited health inspectors to carry out another evaluation of the establishment.

Everald Christian said “We have met all the requests of the health inspection from Mandeville and we are waiting for them to come and do a re-evaluation of our business. We have met the 6 requirements by putting in all mesh and fixed all concrete breakage and we are awaiting them”.

He said he acted swiftly to address their concerns as he stood to lose eight million dollars over the independence weekend.

His comments came after a team of inspectors from Mandeville, Manchester issued a notice for him to close the business place after breaches were detected.
