The Kingston East police have launched a murder investigation following the fatal shooting of a licensed firearm holder in Rollington Town, Kingston, on Tuesday afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as Kevin Johnson.
Reports are that residents heard explosions coming from a premises along Rollington Avenue shortly after 4:00 p.m. Johnson was later found suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
His licensed firearm was reportedly taken by the attackers.
A wrecker was called in to remove the motor vehicle Johnson had driven to the location.
The investigation is ongoing.
