A disabled teenage boy was reportedly killed and four others injured in a drive-by shooting along Text Lane, near Charles Street in Kingston on Tuesday night.
Superintendent Beresford Williams, head of the Kingston Central Police Division, confirmed the multiple shooting incident, noting that the injured are currently receiving treatment at local hospitals.
The attack reportedly shocked residents, who say the area has been relatively calm in recent times.
Authorities are investigating the incident and have urged anyone with information to come forward.
