St. Catherine, Jamaica – A Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) driver has died following a tragic crash along Salt Pond Road in St. Catherine early Wednesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Dwayne Mullings.
Reports from the police are that about 3:10 a.m., Mullings was driving a JUTC bus towards Portmore when he lost control of the vehicle. The bus reportedly veered off the roadway and crashed into a ditch.
Mullings sustained severe injuries and was rushed to the Spanish Town Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Investigations into the fatal crash are ongoing.
