Kingston Police Launch Investigation into Gun Murder of Bearer

Jamaica Crime News, Kingston: The Kingston police say they have now commenced a full investigation into the gun murder of a Bearer, who was shot and killed by gunmen along Greenwich road, in Kingston 12, on Saturday afternoon March 16.

The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Pedrico Thomas, otherwise called “Grobbal” of a 2 East, Greater Portmore address in St Catherine.

Reports by the police are that about 5:15 p.m. on Saturday, a team of officers were patrolling sections of Greenwich Road when they heard explosions which sounded like gunshots, coming from a section of the area.

The lawmen went to the scene and upon arrival, they stumbled upon the body of the wounded bearer along the roadway.

The victim who was suffering from gunshot wounds was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
