Carpenter Murdered in St James

Jamaica Crime News, St James: Carpenter Murdered The Montego Hills police have now commenced an investigation into the shooting death of a man in the community of Salt Spring, St. James, on Sunday night, March 17.

The deceased has been identified as 39-year-old Dwayne Harrison, a carpenter of Montego Hills and Salt Spring address.

Reports by the Montego Hills police are that about 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Harrison was walking along Dooney Lane in Salt Spring, when he was ambushed by armed men who shot him multiple times.

Residents in the area summoned the police and upon their arrival, Harrison was discovered suffering from gunshot wounds along the roadway.

The scene was processed and the victim was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
