Kayodi Satchell Faces Sentencing Today for Murder of 8-Year-Old Danielle Rowe

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Kayodi Satchell, the woman who admitted to killing 8-year-old Danielle Rowe, returns to court today for sentencing.

Satchell had pleaded guilty in September to the brutal abduction and murder of the Braeton Primary School student, whose body was discovered with her throat slashed in St. Andrew. The case sent shockwaves across Jamaica, sparking widespread outrage and calls for justice.

Her sentencing was initially set for November 14 but was postponed due to the unavailability of a required medical report.

Danielle was reported missing earlier this year after being abducted, and her body was found shortly afterward under tragic circumstances. Satchell was subsequently arrested and charged in connection with the heinous crime.
