MALIBU, California – Canadian pop superstar Justin Bieber is embracing the meme and standing on his own version of business.
The 31-year-old “Peaches” singer recently went viral after a video showed him confronting paparazzi during a heated exchange at a Malibu beach, telling them:
“You’re not getting it… it’s not clocking to you that I’m standing on business.”
The phrase — typically used to signal assertiveness and purpose — quickly became the internet’s latest punchline. But Bieber isn’t backing down. Instead, he clapped back playfully, posting a series of selfies to his Instagram Story on June 18, each set to songs referencing the same now-infamous phrase.
Tracks included Myia B Music’s “Stand on Business,” Soulja Rilla’s “Standing on Business,” and Fredo Bang’s “Dat Business.” Bieber even spotlighted lyrics like, “She said I stand on business,” further showing he’s in on the joke — and turning it into a vibe.
The moment comes amid increased online scrutiny of Bieber’s public appearances, as fans and critics alike dissect his every move. But if his social media is anything to go by, Justin’s message is clear: he’s unbothered, self-aware, and definitely still standing on business.
