(McKoy’s News) – Jamaica’s Weather Condition: The Meteorological Service of Jamaica is urging Jamaicans to brace for increase in wind activity and rainfall this weekend.
The Met Service says a developing area of low pressure across the western Caribbean is expected to induce a Trough west of Jamaica tonight.
The Trough is expected to linger in the vicinity of the island through to Sunday.
As a result, atmospheric conditions are expected to become less stable, and deteriorating weather conditions are expected across sections of the island starting tomorrow morning.
Current projections are for periods of light to moderate showers, which could be heavy at times and thunderstorms to affect sections of most parishes.
In addition, windy conditions are expected across the island starting on Saturday.
Significant Feature
