Portland, Jamaica – The police have released the identity of the man who was fatally shot by a licensed firearm holder during a foiled robbery attempt at a Western Union outlet in Hope Bay, early Monday morning, August 25.
The deceased has been identified as 23-year-old Orlando Beverly, of King Western district, St. Andrew.
According to police reports, around 2:30 a.m., a group of armed men broke into the Western Union, where they were confronted by a licensed firearm holder, who engaged them and immediately alerted the police.
