Westmoreland, Jamaica (McN) – Two men were killed in the parish of Westmoreland on Tuesday night after they were run over by a hit and run truck driver.
The victims has been identified as 45-years-old Dave Williams and Omar Dowe, 30-years-old.
Both men are reported laborers of Three Miles River in Westmoreland.
Reports by the Sav La Mar police are that, between 9:00 pm and 10:00 pm on Tuesday, Williams and Dowe were traveling on a bicycle along the Three Miles River main road towards Georges Plain in Westmoreland, when they were mowed down by a truck.
The truck driver reportedly drove away from the scene and is now been sought by the police.
Both victims were transported to the Sav La Mar Hospital where they were pronounced dead.
