A pall of gloom now hangs over the Herbert Morrison Technical High School community in Montego Bay, St. James, following the sudden passing of its Lower School Vice Principal, Tammi-Terrelle Smith, who died on Saturday after a long battle with cancer.
Smith, who served as the school’s ace History and Geography teacher, reportedly passed away while admitted at the Cornwall Regional Hospital in Montego Bay.
She dedicated 30 years of her life to Herbert Morrison Technical High School. Following news of her death, many of her students took to social media to share uplifting comments in her memory.
Smith is remembered as an inspiring educator who instilled discipline in her students, genuinely cared for them, and whose passion for education left a lasting impact on everyone.
