Jamaica News, March 23, 2018 – Help Darneth Gray Find her Father Gerald/Harold Gray

Dear Editor,

I was born Darneth May Gray to Una Spence and Gerald/Harold Gray in 1959. I was born at home on Paradise Cresent. We lived at 8th duke street and My dad did uphostery/carpentry across the street. I don’t know the street number.

My mom and I moved from duke street when I was about 6 years old and that was the last time I saw my dad. My mom said my dad had a house in Paradise Row and she heard that there was someone else having a baby for him. Before she had me she went to his house and saw some baby clothing, I don’t know if he was married at the time.

I would desperately like to find anyone that knows about him or any children or family members. I am now living in the states in NJ. I have been searching and posting articles trying to find him, siblings or family members. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My dad called me Dawny or Dawn. He would always call me for tamarind because there was a tamarind tree in the front yard next to the shop.
