A Haitian national who resides in the United States died from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident along the Carey Park main road in Trelawny on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as 41-year-old Evens Hypolite, who was living in Florida, USA.
Reports indicate that around 3:30 a.m., Hypolite was traveling in a Toyota Probox motor car driven by a 42-year-old man.
The vehicle was traveling towards Falmouth when the driver tried to negotiate a corner and crashed head-on into a bus shed.
Both occupants sustained head and body injuries and were rushed to the hospital, where Hypolite was pronounced dead.
