St James, Jamaica: Fatal Shooting Leaves One Dead – One man was shot and killed, and four others were injured by armed assailants who opened fire at patrons in a shop in the Lilliput community on Tuesday night.
The deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Tevin Scott, also known as ‘Prince’, a construction worker from Bobman Hill in Lilliput, St. James.
According to reports, around 9:30 pm, Scott was among other patrons at a shop in the community when a Honda Fit motor car arrived with several men on board.
The occupants of the vehicle opened fire at the patrons, hitting all five, before fleeing the scene in the waiting motor car.
Police were called to the scene, and the victims were rushed to Cornwall Regional Hospital, where Scott was pronounced dead, and the other victims were treated and admitted in serious condition.
