Fatal Crash Claims Two Lives in St Elizabeth

Two men lost their lives due to injuries sustained in a  motor vehicle collision on Mountainside main road in St Elizabeth on Tuesday night.

The deceased identities have not yet been determined.

According to police report, at approximately 8:30 pm, a Toyota Axio motorcar traveling in a northerly direction failed to keep left, resulting in a collision with a Champion motorcycle heading in the opposite direction, carrying the two men.

The impact of the collision caused the men to be thrown from the motorcycle. Emergency services rushed to the scene and transported the injured men to Black River Hospital. Unfortunately, despite efforts to save them, they were pronounced dead at the hospital.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are working to identify the deceased and determine the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
