Westmoreland, Jamaica: The Frome police in Westmoreland are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a farmer in Barham district, Frome, Westmoreland, on Tuesday night.
The victim has been identified as 43-year-old Odenie Hutchinson, also of Barham district.
According to reports by the police, around 10:20 p.m., Hutchinson was at his home when men armed with handguns entered the house and opened fire, hitting him multiple times.
The police were summoned and, upon arrival, discovered Hutchinson lying in a pool of blood on his bedroom floor, with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
The scene was processed, and the body was removed to the morgue for a post-mortem examination.
