TRELAWNY, Jamaica — The Falmouth police are searching for a cotton candy vendor who fled the scene after allegedly slashing two male Holland High School students during an altercation on Wednesday afternoon.
According to preliminary reports, the incident occurred around 4:00 p.m. as the two students were on their way home. The altercation between the students and the vendor took place under the overpass bridge on the Martha Brae to Falmouth roadway. During the confrontation, the vendor reportedly brandished a knife, wounding both students before fleeing the scene.
The injured students were rushed to the hospital, where they are expected to be treated and later released. Police are continuing their investigation and appealing to the public for assistance in locating the vendor involved in the attack.
