Law enforcement officers assigned to the Specialized Operations Branch have removed an illegal firearm from the streets following an operation in Sandy Bay, Clarendon.
Reports indicate that a Desert Eagle .357 Magnum pistol was confiscated during the exercise. The weapon was fitted with a magazine containing eight rounds of ammunition at the time of the seizure.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident. Authorities say investigations are ongoing as they continue efforts to identify those responsible.
