A 48-hour curfew is currently in place in sections of Cassava Piece, Kingston 8, as authorities work to stabilize the area. The curfew, which began at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, will end at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 12.
The curfew’s boundaries span Grosvenor Heights, Constant Spring Road, Clifton Boulevard, and Mannings Hill Road.
Residents are required to remain indoors unless otherwise approved by the commanding officer. Law enforcement is urging the public to cooperate with these restrictions for safety.
