A man was shot and killed by armed men at a party which was being held in Broughton district, Westmoreland, on Thursday, June 20.
He has been identified as 26-year-old Odain Brooks, otherwise called ‘Cruz’ of Broughton district in Little London, Westmoreland.
Reports are that about 7:20pm, Brooks was at a party being held in his community, when he was ambushed and shot multiple times by men armed with guns.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, Brooks who was discovered suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
