A man was shot and killed, and a woman shot and injured, in Big Bridge, Westmoreland.
Dead is 29-year-old Romario Dillion, of Fullers Field in Grange Hill, Westmoreland.
Reports by the police are that about 1:40pm, Dillion was at his business establishment in Big Bridge, when a Toyota Mark X motor car pulled up outside.
Two men alighted from the vehicle and opened fire, hitting Dillion and the female, before making their escape in the vehicle.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, both victims were rushed to hospital where Dillion was pronounced dead, and the woman treated and admitted in serious condition.
