Police have launched an investigation into the fatal shooting of a construction worker in Rockfort, eastern Kingston, on Friday night.
The deceased has been identified as 48-year-old Kadian Thomas of 16 Rusden Road.
Reports indicate that Thomas was on Rusden Road around 9:45 p.m. when he was shot and injured. He was transported to the Kingston Public Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
At this time, investigators have not yet established a motive for the killing.
The Elleston Road Criminal Investigation Branch is leading the ongoing investigation.
