Police in the St Catherine South Division have launched an investigation after seizing a Browning 9mm pistol and five rounds of ammunition in Central Village on Wednesday, May 21.
According to reports, officers conducting a foot patrol in Browns Lane discovered the weapon hidden in a refrigerator inside an abandoned building around 4:55 p.m.
No arrests have been made, but investigators are continuing their probe into the incident.
