Police Constable Patrick Walters was sentenced to 22 years and six months in prison on Friday for killing his girlfriend, 20-year-old D’Jonnay Graham.
The Supreme Court imposed the sentence after Walters previously pleaded guilty to manslaughter and using a firearm to commit a felony.
Graham was shot during a dispute with Walters at her home in Richmond, St Mary, on June 25, 2025.
Speaking with reporters after the sentencing, Graham’s mother, Euon Douglas Graham, expressed disappointment with the outcome.
