Kingston, Jamaica – Police Commissioner – Following the exit of Commissioner of Police George Quallo, Clifford Blake is now acting Commissioner of Police for Jamaica. Blake takes office immediately.
George Quallo who announced that he would be resigning from the Jamaica Constabulary force less than a week ago, stepped down yesterday after nine months as police commissioner.
The Police Service Commission is in active search for a permanent Chief of Police to replace Quallo, in the mean while Clifford Blake is the acting Commissioner.
