Frankfield, Clarendon – A man from the Cupits district in Frankfield has been charged with murder and arson following the tragic death of his wife and a fire that engulfed their home early Tuesday morning.
The accused has been identified as 39-year-old chef Anray Williams, who is alleged to have killed his wife, 33-year-old Judian Guthrie-Williams, during a domestic dispute.
According to police reports, the incident occurred around 12:20 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8. Williams allegedly used a knife to slash his wife’s throat before setting their house on fire. Both individuals were later rescued from the burning home by concerned residents.

Emergency responders, including the police and fire department, were alerted to the scene. Firefighters extinguished the blaze and conducted cooling operations. Guthrie-Williams’ body was subsequently transported to the morgue, where a post-mortem examination is pending.
Later that day, Williams turned himself in to authorities. During an interview with investigators, he reportedly gave a caution statement. He was formally charged with murder and arson.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
