Bus Driver and 3 Bus Conductors Charged with Rape in Portmore, St Catherine

The Portmore police in St Catherine have arrested and charged a bus driver and three bus conductors with Rape, Forcible Abduction, Conspiracy to Rape, and other sexual offenses.

They have been identified as Shaquille Blackwood, otherwise called ‘Shaq’ a bus driver, 19-year-old Jahiem Crooks, otherwise called, ‘Coolie’ a bus conductor, 18-year-old Johnathan Bedward, otherwise called ‘Stinky’ a bus conductor, and 18-year-old  Dovaughn Daley otherwise called ‘Leon’ all of Portmore and St Catherine addresses.

Reports are that in late June, the men allegedly collected cash from two 12 and 13-year-old girls, and invited them to a house party in Waterford, Portmore.

It is further reported that after the young girls attended the party, they were given liquor and got drunk, followed by which the accused men all took turns in raping them and carried out several acts.

They were also reportedly joined by five other men who are still being sought by the police.

The victims were released the following morning, and a report was made to the police.

The four men were taken into custody on the weekend and subsequently charged, and a manhunt was launched to apprehend the other five accused.
