The Ocho Rios police in St Ann have initiated a manhunt to capture two armed robbers who held up and robbed patrons at a bar and restaurant, making off with over $500,000 in cash on Monday night.
Reports indicate that around 11:30 p.m. on Monday, patrons were at a bar and restaurant along Main Street in Ocho Rios when a silver motor vehicle arrived.
Two men reportedly exited the car, brandishing handguns, and entered the establishment. They held the patrons at gunpoint and robbed the bartender of over $150,000 in cash before proceeding to rob the patrons of cash, jewelry, and cell phones.
After the armed robbers fled the scene, a report was made to the police, who have since launched a manhunt to apprehend the suspects.
