St Catherine, Jamaica: Armed Robbery in Ewarton – The St. Catherine police have laid criminal charges against a 32-year-old man accused of robbing another man at gunpoint of cash and valuables in Ewarton, St. Catherine, on Monday, April 29.
The accused, Ranoy English, otherwise known as ‘Gaza Man,’ a laborer from Waterloo district in Ewarton, St. Catherine, has been charged with Robbery with Aggravation, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, and Using a Firearm to Commit a Felony.
Reports indicate that around 11:15 p.m., English, armed with a handgun, held up a man at gunpoint in his community and robbed him of cash and valuables.
The incident was reported to the police, and following an investigation, English was apprehended and arrested. He was subsequently charged on Monday.
