Investigators in the parish of Westmoreland have commenced a probe into the shooting death of a bike taxi operator in the Rocky Hill district of Sheffield, Westmoreland, on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Randeen Good, otherwise called ‘Coolieman,’ also of Rocky Hill district.
Reports are that around 9:15 PM, Good rode home on his motorcycle and was in the process of parking the bike at the rear of his house when he was confronted by a man armed with a handgun.
The man opened fire, hitting Good multiple times, before stealing the victim’s motorcycle and riding away.
The police were summoned, and upon arrival, they discovered Good lying in a pool of blood with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
