LOS ANGELES (TCN) — Authorities are on the hunt for a suspect accused of targeting elderly men through dating apps and burglarizing their homes across Los Angeles County.
According to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, Adva Lavie allegedly posed as a girlfriend or companion to gain access to victims’ homes before stealing their valuables. Investigators say she primarily contacted elderly men via social media dating platforms and apps.
The sheriff’s department described Lavie as approximately 5-foot-7 and noted that she is known to drive a black Porsche SUV and a white Mercedes-Benz sedan.
Authorities are urging anyone with information on her whereabouts to come forward immediately.
