The Old Harbour police are reporting that another man has been shot and seriously injured in the community on Wednesday, bringing the total number of people shot and injured by gunmen over the past two days to two.
The latest victim is a 21-year-old man who was shot around 7:15 p.m.
Reports indicate that the victim was standing near Narine Lane in Old Harbour Bay when a motor car drove up, and its occupants exited with firearms.
The men opened fire, hitting the victim multiple times in his upper body, before fleeing in the waiting motor car.
Police were alerted and upon arrival, found the wounded man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to May Pen Hospital, where he received treatment and was admitted in serious condition.
