St Ann, Jamaica: The St. Ann police have identified the 95-year-old male who perished in a house fire in Buxton, Alexandria, St. Ann, on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Salomon Campbell, of the same address.
Reports indicate that around 7:15 pm, residents in the community observed the four-bedroom dwelling engulfed in flames and promptly alerted the fire department and police.
Upon the firefighters’ arrival, they could only conduct cooling operations as the fire had already consumed the house and its contents.
After searching through the charred rubble, Campbell’s remains were discovered and subsequently transported to the morgue.
