$36-Million Ganja Bust in St Mary

Latest Jamaica News, St Mary (McKoy’s News): Ganja Bust in St Mary The St Mary police say they seized compressed ganja weighing approximately 7000 pounds, during an operation carried out in Boscobel district on Friday, August 23.

No one has been arrested in connection with the seizure.

Reports by the police are that, an operation was carried out on Friday night, at a section of Boscobel.

2000 Pounds of Ganja Seized in Clarendon

During the operation, an area which is believed to be used to store the drugs was searched, and a total of 289 knitted bags, containing approximately 7000 pounds of compressed ganja seized.

The police say the ganja has a street value of $36-million and is believed was being prepared for export.
