ST. MARY, Jamaica — Eighteen-year-old Akelia Thompson, a resident of Days Mountain, Oracabessa, has been missing since Sunday, September 1. The Oracabessa Police are appealing to the public for help in locating her.
Thompson is described as being of dark complexion, with a slim build, and stands approximately 6 feet 4 inches tall. She was last seen leaving her home around 8:00 a.m., reportedly on her way to work in Ocho Rios, St. Ann. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a white blouse with red markings and sports a natural hairstyle.
Despite efforts to locate her, there has been no success in finding her. Authorities are urging anyone with information on Akelia Thompson’s whereabouts to contact the Oracabessa Police at 876-975-3233, the 119 Police Emergency number, or the nearest police station.
Her family and community remain deeply concerned and hopeful for her safe return.
