Lances Bay, Hanover (McKoy’s News) — Just hours after a young woman was killed in a separate crash, Hanover was rocked again by another road tragedy — this time claiming the life of a 17-year-old boy.
The fatal collision took place along the Lances Bay main road Sunday night and involved three vehicles, including a 2024 Cobra motorcycle, a Toyota Axio, and a Toyota Mark X.
The teen was riding as a pillion passenger on the motorcycle when the deadly crash occurred.
Police reports suggest improper lane use, inattention, and loss of control may have led to the fatal impact. He was thrown from the bike and died at the scene.
Residents who gathered at the crash site described the moment as “chaos and heartbreak.”
