A twelve-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of a 15-year-old male student following a stabbing incident in Kingston on June 7.
The identity of the accused is being withheld due to his age, but he has been charged with the murder of 15-year-old Adjhanie Walker, a student of Hypolite Road, also in Kingston.
Reports are that shortly after 7:00 p.m., Walker and the minor got involved in an argument, during which the younger boy allegedly armed himself with a knife.
It is further reported that he used the knife to inflict a stab wound to Walker’s neck before fleeing the scene.
Walker was rushed to the hospital, where he was treated and admitted in critical condition, but later succumbed to his injuries.
The student was picked up on Thursday and officially charged with murder.
