INDECOM Probes Self-Inflicted Shooting of Female Cop

St Catherine, Jamaica (Mckoy’s News) – Self-Inflicted Shooting of Female Cop: The Independent Commission of Investigation (INDECOM) are now probing the circumstances which led to a female police officer accidentally shooting and injuring herself in St Catherine South Division on New Year’s Day.

Reports are that about 9:40 a.m. on Monday, January 1, 2018, the female Inspector who is attached to the National Police College of Jamaica allegedly picked up her service revolver and believing that it was cleared. She reported pulled the trigger causing one round to discharge hitting her in the hand.

The wounded cop was immediately transported to the Andrews Memorial Hospital where she was treated.
