Portland, Jamaica: Suspected Suicide in Buff Bay – The Buff Bay police in Portland are investigating the death of a man suspected of taking his own life at his home in Buff Bay, Portland, on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as 50-year-old Leon Jackson, of a Third Avenue address in Buff Bay.
Reports state that on Sunday morning, a relative went in search of Jackson and stumbled upon the gruesome discovery.
Upon arrival, the police discovered the deceased hanging by a sheet and a belt, which were tied around his neck, from a section of the ceiling.
The body was then removed to the morgue for post-mortem examination.
The police have launched a probe into his death.
