Woman Sues Mystikal: A woman who accused rapper Mystikal of rape is continuing a civil lawsuit against him, despite his recent guilty plea and 20-year prison sentence in the related criminal case.
According to court documents, the woman alleges that she visited Mystikal’s home in Prairieville, Louisiana, in July 2022. She claims the encounter began peacefully but escalated after the rapper accused her of stealing money.
In the lawsuit, the woman alleges that Mystikal physically assaulted her, including punching and choking her, causing various injuries. She further claims he forced her to remove her clothing, spat in her face, threw rubbing alcohol on her, and threatened her with scissors.
The woman also alleges that Mystikal instructed her to kneel and pray with him before sexually assaulting her. She claims she was too frightened to resist and that he raped her both vaginally and anally.
According to the lawsuit, Mystikal later forced her to search his home for the allegedly missing money and compelled her to send him $150 through a payment app.
The woman says she suffered physical injuries, emotional distress, and lost time from work as a result of the incident. Her civil case remains ongoing.
In the criminal matter, Mystikal pleaded guilty to third-degree rape and was sentenced to 20 years in prison. The civil lawsuit seeks damages related to the alleged assault and its aftermath.
