Westmoreland, Jamaica: Woman Shot and Injured in Negril – A woman who was shot and injured at her home on Breadnut Lane in Negril, Westmoreland, on Saturday night remains hospitalized in serious condition.
Reports indicate that shortly after 10:00 pm, the woman and her three children were at home in Negril when armed men opened fire on the house.
The woman sustained gunshot wounds to her head, while sections of the house were also damaged by gunfire.
Residents in the community alerted the police, and upon the lawmen’s arrival, the injured woman was rushed to the hospital, where she was treated and admitted in serious condition.
The children escaped unharmed.
